She is constanly hurting you and avoiding the topic, a relationship doesn't work that way. SHE is being so imature and its just sad cause she's almost 40.... I really feel like you need to move on, not right right away but if this keeps up you really do need to start being happy again. Not all girls are worth it and to be frank the way your gf is acting is complete trash towards you. You should have the right to be able to talk about that topic cause it's a relationship! She's thinking about herself and not you. Try telling her straight that the way she's being is just not right, if she doesn't at least TRY to understand then that should say enough about her and where your relationship is going. There's other fish in the sea! And dude, your still young!! Do your self a favor and look for someone new if she doesn't start acting like how a gf should! Just make sure your happy!
