Why are girls so traumatized that all hot dudes are douches?

i mean from what people have told me (girls and disgusting gay dudes too) i am actually considered as a cute/hot dude... i mean yeah i sometimes treat people as if they were dog poo poo but i can be a romantic! but not as much as a douche though..
