How traumatizing is abuse? ?

Sexual abuse is a 10. It completely takes your life away. The younger it happened, the more severe. I was in diapers still. I DON'T have a life whatsoever. I was picked on at school, beaten by my dad and emotionally abused by both. They are things I could have gotten over. Still very very hard and life changing, but not as bad as the sexual stuff. If you have no abuse before age of 12, then you have a whole heap to go through, that is even less of a deal because you already have a rough idea of what is wrong & right and what and you already know who you are as a person and that you are loved. Having these things distorted from practically childbirth, it's a completely different story.
